The Pitch Forum is where companies that sell to nonprofits present their business to a small group of experienced and highly accomplished industry operators and investors who have the option to invest. It is run by Foundry for Good.

The pitch experience
What happens if we invest
If we decide to partner up, we bring a lot more to the table than just capital to help you grow:
We back B2B companies selling to nonprofits, associations, foundations, schools and social enterprises. Within that market we look for two situations, and we evaluate every company against the same four criteria.
Two kinds of company we back

You have a working product and traction through paying customers or early revenue. The idea is proven. What you need is to reach the next level faster than you could on your own.

A proven product with real demand and customers, but your growth rate is slowing down, and you want strategic investors who can help take it to the next level.
What we evaluate
All four apply to every company. The strongest candidates speak to each one clearly and honestly.

The mission is woven into the business model, the operations and the day-to-day decisions. Pursuing it is tied to long-term value, not bolted on as marketing.

A clear statement of the problem and evidence that your product solves it. Pilot results, customer outcomes and real numbers count for more than projections.

A model with real room to grow, where the impact grows with it. Show us that profit and purpose reinforce each other in your case.

You know exactly what you need: the capital, the specific introductions, the expertise gaps. Founders who can name the three relationships that would change their trajectory stand out.
Foundry for Good runs the same format for every company.

Six slides: problem, solution, traction, team, gaps, the ask.

The investors ask you questions to align on where you want to take your business.

You drop off the call. Each investor discusses and weighs your pitch.

In writing with where the investors landed and why.
Investors mainly want to weigh
How big is the market?
How strong is the product?
How is the traction?
Can the team in place can pull it off?

The panel includes operators from Double the Donation, Nexus Marketing, OneCause, and others.
Started Double the Donation and Foundry for Good. He'll ask whether your customers renew, and who your product plugs into.

Took OneCause through to its sale to Bonterra. He'll ask about your unit economics and your sales cycle.
Led marketing at Togetherwork, and was CMO at Fonteva before the acquisition. He’ll ask how you reach association buyers, and what your pipeline actually costs.
Drives growth at Dataro, and was at Fundraise Up before that. He'll ask what's working in your growth, with the numbers.
